What Does God Expect from True Christians?
The things that Jehovah and Jesus Christ have commanded us to
observe the followings forever:
· The
reference to Jesus and his death (Matthew 12: 38-40, Daniel 9:27)
· The
announcement of Christ's glory (Revelation 1: 9-20)
· the Sabbath
(a sign to be kept) (Leviticus 29:30, 26: 2)
· The Ten
Commandments or the "Word of the Testimony" (Exodus 20)
· The
Feasts of Jehovah, which he instituted as a perpetual law as the plan of
salvation (Leviticus 23, Deut. 16)
· Preach the Gospel of God's Kingdom: a guarantee of eternal life to all who believe and
receive it (Matthew 10: 7, Mark 16:15, Luke 9:60)
· Seek God's Kingdom, instead of focusing on what to eat or wear every day (Matthew
6:33; Proverbs 22: 4)
· Follow
the Lord's prayer: 1) Seeking the Kingdom of God and His will; 2) Forgiveness
and deliverance 3) Various prayers (Matthew 6; Luke 11)
· Listen
and observe God's Word carefully
· Demonstrate the power and
glory of God in humility and wisdom (Micah 6: 8)
