The Sin of Sodom and Gomorrah is Very Grave
And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave" (Genesis 18)

The Prophets of Jerusalem Commit Adultery and Tell Lies

Even so, People Did Not Repent

Pestilence in Sidon

Make it an Example
... and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly (2 Peter 2: 6)

Jehovah Protects His People
“And there shall no longer be a pricking brier or a painful thorn for the house of Israel from among all who are around them, who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord God.” (Ezekiel 28:24)
Call Upon Jehovah, the Lord of Hosts, in the day of Trouble
“Unless the Lord of [c]Sabaoth had left us a seed,
We would have become like Sodom,
And we would have been made like Gomorrah.” (Romans 9:29)
"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near" (Isaiah 55: 6)
Offer to God thanksgiving,
And pay your vows to the Most High.

Return to Jehovah God and Be Saved

So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm. (Joel 2:13)
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.(Matthew 6:33)
Return to the LORD, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who saves your life from the pit, who covers you with mercy and compassion.
